Story

In the year 2224, humanities expansion out into space has continued for almost 100 years. The fractured and disorganized scattering of mankind, resulting in millions of sects, at best loosely confederated into regional blocks incapable of exerting real control upon it's member peoples. The only true link left to many of them is the use of the Universal Communications network, a series of interstellar beacons established throughout the stars to allow the species to maintain contact with itself. 

At the leading edge of this a new material has been discovered that has thrown the entirety of mankind into a frenzy. A material that has come to be known as Helion. 

First discovered in a nebula that had been designated as Sectare 121, the material's properties make it a horrifyingly efficient fuel. The raw energy Helion's degredation creates, shattering the boundaries of what humanity felt was achievable. Technology utilizing this strange material, upsetting the balance of power throughout the many systems the race has come to occupy.

Even as a loosely organized central authority scrambles to consolidate in the sectare, Military, corporate, and independent factions flood in to vie for control of the still unknowable reserves of Helion across the nebula.


Game

Designed as a traditional RTS, the game is to possess a full campaign and a dedicated single player skirmish mode. A roster of units will be shared by all factions. Each faction differentiating itself by possessing some limits to available units from the roster, at least 2 unique units, and special technological upgrades that they may requisition for their field commanders.

The title is in active development, with a single hobbiest developer; so progress will be slow.
